Yes absolutely! Each additional dog is £79 extra*, the only limitation is the amount of space within my vehicle but I will always try my best to accomodate given enough notice.
*prices are for 25/26 weddings.
Absolutely! Nervous dogs are one of my specialities within my training career.
Firstly, if your dog is particularly nervous, I would urge you to consider if bringing your dog to a wedding is appropriate for them. There is a lot of new stimuli that can be incredibly stressful for dogs, so please advocate for them.
If you think your dog may be worried by me, as a stranger then it will be necessary for you to book a package with a meet and greet to ensure your dog is comfortable with me on the day.
Your dog's personality should be captured in your photos and dogs will be dogs and should be celebrated! I will of course help the photographers and videographers to get the shots that you are hoping for with lots of techniques and treats.
If you require training to help your dog on the day, I suggest the diamond package where we have two zoom training sessions before your event to set your dog up for success.
These sessions should be booked with plenty of time for your dog to learn their new skill before throwing them in at the deep end!
The dog's day looks a little bit like this:
- Arrive at the pick up location and let the dog out to the loo and have a little play to help them relax into my company
- Travel to the venue in my car with me
- Arrive at the venue around 30 minutes before they are required
- Take them for a walk so that they can relax, toilet and burn off some energy before their big moment
- Get them dressed if they have a specific outfit
- Help them with their duties whether that be ring bearer, photos, guest greetings or anything else you have lined up for them
- Continue to offer them breaks, rest, water and play throughout their session
- Receive lovely treats for being incredible companions
- Have their videos and photos taken by me and sent to you so you can see some behind the scenes action when you see your phone
- Take them back to a pre-arranged location
Your dogs welfare is always my priority and if I see that the dog is stressed at any point, I will act in their best interest and give them a break. I am trained to read their body language effectively and all of the newness can be a lot for a lot of dogs to cope with so please trust my judgement! I want all dog's in my care to be happy and heard.
I'm afraid I will not work with dogs that are human aggressive or have a human bite history. This is to protect myself, your guests and your dog from a stressful situation.
I will always advise if I don't think the event environment will be appropriate for your dog as I would rather the dog be happy than push for business when it is not right for the dog.
Your dog will ideally be in a harness but flat collars can also be used. I am happy to use any lead your provide. Any outfits must be provided.
I will not use any kind of aversive equipment on your dogs as their welfare is within my best interest and I will not inflict pain or discomfort on any dog within my care. This includes slip leads.
I always suggest the treats are provided by you. As a trainer I will always bring out the big guns to help the dogs in one of the most distracting environments they will be in such as primula cheese and hotdogs. If your dog's have allergies, I will of course only use food provided by you.
